Knee-Ankle-Foot orthosis (KAFO)


  1. To walk therapeutically by stopping motion, limiting motions or assisting motion.


Indication: The biomechanical basis for the use of KAFO’S (and HKAFO’S) is divided into three parts.

  1. Muscle weakness.
  2. Upper Motor Neuron lesion.
  3. Loss of structural integrity.
