Q: No: 01: a) What are the causes of cell injury? Discuss the mechanism of reversible cell injury.

b) What are the chemical mediators of inflammation? Write their funcitons.

c) Define necrosis. Discuss briefly different types of necrosis with example.

Q: No: 02: a) What do you mean by reapir and regeneration? Mention the factors influencing wound healing.

b) What is pathological calcification? Describe different types of pathological calcification.

c) Mention the names of graulomatous diseases. Draw and label tubercular granuloma.

Q: No: 03: a) What are the cellular adaptations? Define atrophy and mention the causes of atrophy.

b) What is meningitis? Descirbe points of difference of CSF findings in different types of meningitis.

c) Write short notes on: i) Apotosis ii) Hyperplasia iii) Fatty change of liver

Q: No: 04: a) Define shock. Describe the pathogenesis of septic shock.

b) What are the causes of pyogenic osteomyelitis? Describe the pathogenesis & morphology of pyogenic osteomyelitis.

c) Classify vitamins. Discuss about deficiency manifestations of vitamin A.

Q: No: 05: a) Define tumor. Write the points of difference between benign and malignant tumors.

b) Describe briefly about the laboratory diagnosis of tumor.

c) Describe the pathogenisis of rheumatic fever. What are the major and minor criteria for the diagnosis of rheuamtic fever.
