Group-A

Q: No: 01: a) Define fertilization. Describe the event that occur in the first week of development.

b) How a spinal nerve is formed? Name the crainial nerves. Which of them carry parasympathetic nucleus.

c) What is amniotic fluid? Mention the composition and function of amniotic fluid.

d) What do you mean by brain stem. Give in tabulated form the difference between upper motor neuron and lower motor neuron type of lesion.

Q: No: 02: a) Define ovulation. Draw and label a mature graffian follicle. Name the hormones produced by placenta.

b) What is joint? Classify it. Draw and label knee joint.

c) What do you mean by cell cycle? Give in tabulated form the difference between mitiotic and meiotic cell division.

d) Name the hormones secreted from anterior pituitary gland. Mention its functions

Group-B

Q: No: 03: a)  How stomach bed is formed? Give the blood supply of stoamch.

b) Define artery and vein. What are the difference between artery and vein.

c) How portal vein is formed? Whata are the branches of portal vein? What do you mean by portosystemic anastomosis?

d) Write short notes on: i) Muscles spindle ii) Blood brain barrier iii) Cauda equina

Q: No: 04: a) What do you mean by bronchopulmonary segment? Draw and label broncho pulmoanry segment of right lung.

b) Describe origin. Course & Branches of both coronary artery. Write about interior of right atrium.

c) Define mediastinum. Give the boundary and contents of superior mediastinum.

d) Write short notes on: i) Neuro-Muscular junction  ii) Pyramidal tract iii) Venacaval opening of diaphragm.
